1) Spaceship crashes on desert island and alien has to care for egg until it hatches.
2) Same as 1, but the ship was organic and the egg grows into a new ship.
3) Alien explorer goes to desert island, finds the egg and tries to take it back for study.
4) The whole island is a Kraken egg and starts to hatch when the alien sets foot on it.
5) A cartoonish story where an alien finds an egg tries to break it open in various ways.
6) An alien on the run has fled to a desert island with the egg
I like number 5, do you plan on making it a slapstick comedy because that would be great. Idea 1 seems to be the best idea to me if it was a slapstick comedy too, there'd be constant problems and obstacles the alien is faced with whilst protecting this egg, and you could build suspense with it to captivate your audience.
ReplyDeleteNumber 6 makes me think of the beginning of Lilo and Stitch, do you have a developed idea for when he gets to the desert island with this egg?
I got a couple ideas that you could use for slapstick comedy... Slightly dark humour like the egg ending up in an alligators mouth and the alien panics. After faces with multiple challenges and getting tired of protecting this egg the alien wishes the egg would just hatch so starts trying to hatch himself like getting a hammer and chisel, or starts with a jack hammer on top of it??? But since its a desert island use resources available that could improvise if you want logic for this animation.
